At this moment, I intend on studying engineering in college. Right now, I am not certain which type of engineering I want to study so, I applied as an undecided engineering major wherever possible. I want to be an engineering major because I want to create and build things although, I'm not sure what that is yet but I know it is what I want to do. I hope to work for a firm that allows me to help others with the skills I develop in college.
Archimedes was an ancient Greek engineer from Syracuse, Italy. He worked as an engineer, mathematician, physicist, philosopher, astronomer, inventor, and combat engineer. Archimedes studied in the learning capital of Alexandria, Egypt, and at the school that had been established by the Greek mathematician Euclid. It is unlikely Archimedes had to complete any internships or post-degree work. In five words, I would describe Archimedes as a pioneer, trailblazer, originator, genius, and classic. I chose to research Archimedes because he is the original groundbreaking engineer who discovered and invented many revolutionary things throughout his lifetime. I like that Archimedes was a renaissance man and did a lot of different things other than engineering. I want to live in the way he did in this sense because I want to do many things as well.
