I had a fun-filled summer vacation where I attempted to make the most of my last summer vacation as a high school student. To kick it off, I went camping at Point Mugu with a large group of my closest friends. I completed two classes at SMC which allowed me to have no first period this year which I am ecstatic about. Later in summer, I traveled to Maui for about a week with my mom and scouted out the island on the famous road to Hana. Overall, my summer was used for enjoyment and relaxation. I read a couple books, listened to a lot of my favorite music, and played pick-up basketball with my friends.

In engineering this year, I am most excited to create a new invention in a group amongst my peers. The capstone class will allow for me to have a peek into the engineering world which will provide insight upon the field in which I would like for my career to be in. Plus, I really like my teachers and classmates and am looking forward to spending a lot of time with everyone.

In general, I am looking forward for the fun that comes with my senior year of high school. My schedule feels much lighter than it has been in prior years and I am looking forward to growing closer to my peers in my final year of high school. I have so much anticipation for the rest of my life that will happen after high school. I guess I am trying to say I am looking forward to having a lot of fun this year.
